העמותה מינתה ועדה למענקים ומלגות ובראשה עומד ראש העיר של ראש העין ,קצין חינוך ראשי לשעבר.
מטרת העמותה בהקימה ועדה זו הינה עידוד המצוינות וציון לשבח של החיילים המצוינים המשרתים והמשתחררים.
העמותה רוצה להעביר מסר לחיילים, כי אנו ותיקי החטיבה תומכים ומצפים לדוגמא אישית ומוטיבציה גבוהה מחיילנו המבצעים את תפקידם הקשה ושרותם הארוך, לעיתים בתנאים סזיפים ולאורך שרות ארוך ומייגע.
בטקס שהתקיים הוענקו 21 מענקים ותעודות הצטיינות למשתחררי החטיבה וכן תעודות הערכה ל-20 חיילים מצטיינים שממשיכים בשרות להם הוענק פרס צנוע.
הערב היה בהשתתפות הורי החיילים המצטיינים,נציגי משפחות שכולות,מפקד החטיבה ומפקדי היחידות.
חשוב לנו, כי לוחמנו ידעו שאנו מעריכים מעשיהם ועושים כמיטב יכולתנו להקל עליהם במעבר משירות לאומי לאזרחות
ולציינם לטובה גם בעת שרותם השוטף בחטיבה
